Letter from Laurence Storey, Aughrim, land agent to G.R. Wade, saying that the heifer at the Hill is still unwell, commenting that they are keeping an eye on the others to see that they are well. He informs him of two "frightful murders" in Loughrea. "They appear determined to shoot before them, in all directions". He tells him about the Handys, saying that Mrs Handy may call to him in Dublin.
