Scope and content

Letter from Laurence Storey, Aughrim, land agent to G.R. Wade, saying that he has put some cattle onto the meadow. He gives details of the work on the ditch with Coffee, saying that it is coming along fine. He comments on further work on Hare's and Handy's borders, commenting that they will have to be well-repaired. He states that the stock at Andress is well, and at Newcastle. He states that Kelly is being very attentive, and that he and his boy are fencing off the bottom of their lands with Minton to keep the cattle in. He does not think that Faughran or Kelly will ask for more wages, but asks him how he should act if they do. He informs him that Handy had eight farms with stock handed up to him the previous day.
