Letter from Henry Labouchere, [Chief Secretary], Dublin Castle, to George Charles, 3rd Earl, stating that he has read his letter to the Lord Lieutenant. He regrets that he has such a bad opinion of their measures to remedy 'a most critical position' but he does not agree that the course that the Earl seems to be suggesting is any better. He thinks landowners would use it as a means to clear their estates.
