Letter from Eoghan Ó Tuairisc, Gormanstown, to Rita Kelly, Galway, commenting on his work adapting the pay in rehearsals. Comments that he had finished IAR's "Practical Criticism", commenting that the poor undergraduates will have a lot of reading to do. Asks why they all go for Italy "rather than look at the clear sun on the midge-pools of the Kellysgrove Bog?" Comments that he is slogging through the O'Sullivan version of "Carolan", saying that he could only work by the fire as it is so cold. He read "Jewish Short-Stories" after the coffee-break, commenting that one by Heine reminded him of Máirtín Ó Cadhain. He says he has been summoned to the Abbey and will have to see it though.
