Letter from Earnán de Blaghd, Aire Airgid, to Liam Ó Briain, asking him to interview Corporal Mac Diarmuda on the possibility of his being transferred to Dublin for six months to train as a producer at the Gate. He states that he can arrange it to make sure that he is not put on Guard Duty as so be free to train in the evenings. He is afraid that Mac Diarmuda would leave the army, which he is unhappy with, and go to some fifth rate travelling company. He suggests that he could be made a sergeant on his return to Galway, and to allay his fears in relation to receiving a "ragging in the Barracks".
