Scope and content
Letter from Colbert Kearney, Riverstown, Cork to Eugene Watters, saying that he has been trying to track down the Adult Education people to see about the lecture. He wonders if he would like to be a guest lecturer at UCC, Sean Lucy thinks it would be no problem to arrange and anything on the nineteenth century would be fine. Asks him for news on the Rialto. Sean shows him the Goldsmith Press anthology. He has been working away solidly and gives news of his rugby exploits. He has just finished "a boring lecture" on Shaw, and comments on his dissatisfaction with the term Anglo-Irish. He also wants to write something on Behan, he wonders if he was thinking of the neurotic when he wrote on the "split-personality" and the "divided Irish mind".
