She describes her experiences in New York and the problems she was having saving money, she writes 'I'd rather be on the road its more fun and cheaper'; she also writes that 'Mac [Bazie Magee] has not come yet. The general feeling is that when she hears that Boss is to produce "Shadow and Substance" which means extra money - that she'll be out. Well - let her !'
