Letter dated 4 July 1964 from M.J. Leahy of 24 Clonliffe Road, Dublin 3 addressed to 'The Editor' of 'The Evening Press' requesting Arthur Shields address so that Leahy can return a book his sister bought at a book sale to Shields, the book, ' "The Latin Quarter" a selection of short stories translated from the French. The fly leaf of the book bears the signature "Arthur Shields, Abbey Theatre, Dublin"; also letter dated 14 July 1964 from M.J. Leahy addressed to Arthur Shields in which he writes 'it gives me great pleasure to return your book as promised.'
