Letter addressed to Letter from M.E. Lynch O.C. , Whitefriars, Faversham, Kent addressed to Arthur Shields. Lynch expresses his sympathy with Shields on the occasion of the death of his brother Barry Fitzgerald. Lynch writes of his great admiration for Fitzgerald's acting ability and of his portrayal of priests. Which he believed was in marked contrast to the usual on screen portrayal of priests which was 'so often so superficial and false that looking on screen you want to shoot them.'
