Letter addressed to Arthur Shields from Patrick Mahony, The Dower House, 1401 East Pepper Lane, Santa Barbara, California. Mahony includes directions to his house for a visit Shields and his wife were scheduled to make on Sunday 21 June 1964. Mahony also writes that Shields appeared to be interested in a Thesis on Lennox R. by my friend Prof. O'Neill, so here is the notice in case you wish to order it.' He also encloses a page from 'Starkie's' letter 'in which you will see how much he hopes to see you.'
