Folder on James Joyce containing notes and associated papers relating to lectures given by G Freyer on James Joyce at various venues including the following: Chicago on 31 Mar 1968, Winston-Salem [North Carolina] on 11 Mar 1968, Dublin on 20 Aug 1968; Rowfant Club of Cleveland on 24 Nov 1968, various locations in 1969 including Danforth [Maine] on 27 Oct 1969, Cardinal Clennon College in the spring of 1970, Dublin on 11 Aug 1970 and in Aug 1972, Mainz on 3 Nov 1975 and Cracow on 29 Oct 1976. Includes one photograph of three men and a lady at a function, with a mask of James Joyce, taken by G.A. Duncan, photographer, 151 Cabra Road, Dublin; newspaper cuttings including a piece from "The Irish Times" entitled 'Few Imitators of the Joyce Style', and quoting Dr. G. Freyer (4 Aug 1971); programme of lectures for the international summer course on James Joyce held at the language centre of Ireland from 16-30 Aug 1968, at which G Freyer gave two lectures, entitled 'The Formative Years' and 'Joyce's Literary Friendships'; advertising leaflet relating to the James Joyce Annex, an intensive short course run in association with the International Yeats Summer School in Sligo, Aug 1970; letter from Priscilla Franklin, a student of Franconia College, New Hampshire, USA to G Freyer asking him to be her thesis examiner, she wants to write on Molly Bloom (9 July 1970).
