He explains that his Society would be happy to arrange such a debate in the future, but refers to the belief among some members of the Society that the Language Freedom Movement previously declined an invitation to speak at the college. In Christopher Morris's reply, he thanks him for agreeing to consider a language debate, and assures him that the LFM had never declined such an invitation. Mr. Morris asks Mr. Barry to look into this matter, and to clear any confusion up.
