Includes copy will which mentions his wife Elizabeth nee Ruttledge, sons Anthony, Thomas, Peter, Adam, George, John and Christopher; leaves lands of Lisbragan and Clonfinance to Thomas; his sister Anne Ormsby and his daughters Sarah and Ann Phibbs. Executors are his two eldest sons Anthony and Thomas, of Knockmore, with two codicils dated 1816 and 1817. Witnesses are William Lindsey, Thomas Ruttledge, Thomas Semple and Thomas Murray. Date of will given as 31 March 1816.
Copy of Probate of Adam Ormsby of Charlesmont St., Dublin, granted to executors, noting he died on 20 April 1835. Includes copy will which mentions Mary, Peter and Owen Phibbs, children of his sister Sarah; Sarah, Elizabeth, Anne, Thomas, a Lieutenant in the 92nd Regiment, Owen Lloyd, an ensign in the 88th Regiment and Anthony Ormsby, the six children of his brother Peter Ormsby; Elizabeth Ormsby, daughter of his brother Thomas Ormsby of Knockmore; Elizabeth Ormsby, daughter of his late brother George Ormsby; Anthony and John Yeadon Ormsby, sons of his late brother Anthony Ormsby; his brothers John and Christopher Ormsby. Also mentioned are his wife Mary nee Marsden; sons Charles, John Bingham, Lionel Fitzgerald and William, father-in-law James Marsden; deaths of his daughters Harriet and his other daughters Elizabeth and Susanna, his brother Henry and his sister Eleanor Osle. 2 codicils 1824 and 1826. Executors are his wife Mary and Thomas Ormsby. Witnesses Edward Fitzgerald, Peter Cohoon and Thomas Grubb, date of will 13 Nov 1823.
