Father Egan PP, Kilronan, Aran Islands, Co Galway asking for information on a gravestone relating to John Fitzpatrick, who died in 1709, and was buried near the village of Killermy, Inishmore, Isle of Aran (22 Feb 1929). Also copy of the genealogy of this family of the Fitzpatricks who seem to have moved to Co Clare in the eighteenth century. Also copy of a letter from Patrick Connolly, Killreamy, Kilronan Post Office, Aran Islands, to Fr Egan reporting on the inscriptions relating to the family in St Enda's graveyard. He states that he could find nothing further but that some of the monuments had toppled into the sea due to erosion (12 Mar 1929)
