Reprints of an article in the British Medical Journal by Sir Peter Freyer, entitled 'A case of hydrophobia eighteen months after infection'. He recalls a case in Mussoorie, [India], where a young officer died from the bite of a mad dog and puts forwards his theory for the prevention of rabies. The notes of this case were previously published as an appendix to the annual report of The Army Medical Department for 1884.
