Material relating to the case of Roy Johnston, amicably separated, his new partner of many years Janice Williams, and their daughter and the wish to establish whether Ireland was in breach of the European Convention on Human Rights in prohibiting divorce, 1980-1989 (and therefore the right to re-marry). Both the European Convention and the European Commission they submitted to initially found lack of divorce did not breach convention, but it was found that their rights were being violated, in particular the child's in relation to "illegitimacy" (she was illegitimate because they could not remarry), and as an illegitimate child was denied many rights including inheritance without will. European Court found no case for divorce or remarriage, but did find that child being denied legitimacy was against their rights. Status of Children Act 1987 removed this distinction of "illegitimacy".

The 'Day of the week' and 'Day of the month' fields are printed, for example 'Mon.','5'. Each entry (which appear to ignore the field headings) is composed of a city location, a performance time and an abbreviated play title, for some days two performances are included, For example Wednesday 6 January 1932 'Minneapolis Minn', 'Matt. W.H.B., Eve F.O.H.' Plays listed include 'W.H.B.' ('The Whiteheaded Boy'), 'F.O.H.' ('The Far-Off Hills') both by Lennox Robinson, 'J.F.' ('John Ferguson') by St. John Ervine 'Juno' ('Juno and The Paycock') by Sean O'Casey and 'Play' ('Playboy of the Western World') by J.M. Synge. Cities visited include Chicago, Boston, Vancouver, Tallahassee, Buffalo.

Documents pertaining to Roundstone School, which was built on land given by Richard Berridge. Includes a copy of the deed of assignment of trustees to school properties in the parish of Killanin, Barony of Moycullen, reciting a deed of 1894 from Richard Berridge to named clergymen assigning ground for the building of schools in the parish, and a copy of the release of land for the school.
