The first document is entitled 'Case on behalf of the Corporate Body of Queen's College Galway' and the second is the 'Opinion of Counsel' H.P. Jellett (28 Apr 1898), stamped University Press Office, TCD, 6 May 1898. A note records that 'After this "opinion" the matter was allowed to drop. It was felt that the proposed remarks were all of them too dangerous'.
