UGA G/G60/3/29 · Sub-series · [1943]-12/03/1986
Part of Irish Language

Material in this subseries includes reports from canvassing, minutes, correspondence, annual accounts and cuttings relating to the design, promotion and sale of a broach/pin (An Fáinne) by this subcommittee which was to be worn by members of the public who were fluent in or willing to converse in Irish. The broach was a revival of an earlier model from 1916. This subseries also includes a flyer relating to “An Nasc” from ca. 1943 which was possibly another attempt to revive the original “Fáinne”.
