This series relates to Thomas Kilroy's play "The Shape of Metal", first produced by The Abbey Theatre in 2003, and subsequently revived by The Origin Theatre, New York (2007), by the Tryator company, Netherlands (2007), and by Friar's Gate Theatre, Limerick (2009). It was published by The Gallery Press (2003). This contains research notes, progressive drafts and scripts, correspondence with Abbey Theatre staff and the viewing public, with potential producers; programmes, reviews, and material for the Gallery Press publication.
