This series relates to training and employment from the perspective of the Irish language. It is divided into two subseries; training and employment respectively. The first subseries is further divided to include material relating to language courses; Summer schools; folk-schools; courses for guides; aids for learning and teaching and The Training Council (AnCO). The second subseries includes further subdivisions covering FÁS [Training and Employment Authority]; Employment Equality Agency; and Irish language jobs. Material includes reports, correspondence, flyers and cuttings.

This subseries consists of material relating to training for those learning or teaching Irish and is further subdivided. The first three sub-subseries relate to language courses (G60/31/1/1), summer schools (G60/31/1/2) and folk schools (Daonscoil) (G60/31/1/3) respectively, and each are arranged chronologically where possible. Coursebooks and correspondence relating to training of guides (teachers) is covered in the file “Cúrsaí do Threoraithe” (G60/31/1/4). The subseries “Material for Teaching/Learning” (G60/31/1/5) consists of material used by teachers and learners alike to aid in teaching/learning Irish, such as text books, language exercises, and scrapbooks of vocabulary. The final three files in this subseries consists of material relating to Irish language terminology (G60/31/1/6), flyers and ephemera (G60/31/1/7) and ANCO [The Industrial Training Authority (An Comhairle Oiliúna)] (G60/31/1/8).

Traditional Irish Concerts.
