Black and white and also colour photographs taken from 'The Big Game' by Macnas. this event preceded the Connacht Senior Gaelic Football Final, at Castlebar, Co. Mayo. It was further preceded by a parade through the town to the stadium. Includes workshop images of the 'big heads' being constructed and shaped; images of football training sessions, images of the stadium and of the performance at the Final by Macnas members. Also a shot of Rod Goodall in costume as a Bishop and mimicking Bishop of Galway, Eamon Casey.

Article, 'The Catholic Belgian Farmers' Association (De Belgische Boerenbond)', by Dom Bede Lebbe, St. Columba's Priory, Glenstal, County Limerick. This was a rewritten version of a paper given at the Muintir na Tíre Rural Week, Galway, August 1939, and was later published in an edited form for the November-December 1941 issue of the Redemptorist Record magazine. The paper has been typed on the backs of old letters sent to Dom Lebbe.
