Letter from Charles Rushworth Lynch Staunton, Clydagh, Headford, Tuam, to John Wilson Lynch enclosing a list of cash receipts for Belvoir, which he believes to be correct. He reports that there has been some damage from falling trees, and also much of the glass in broken, including the stained glass window on the stairs. He states that painted glass pales into insignificance when people have been hurt also, and says that his friend Durnford has arrived alright. Enclosure note on the year's changes on the Belvoir estate.

Two letters from AW Hazell, relating to income tax on annuities paid to John Wilson Lynch's sisters and to Pat McMahon's gale days. He asks John Wilson Lynch to send the map and Poor Law valuation of the Duras estate as he wants to walk some of the Aughinish holdings for his own information. Includes two lists of annuity arrears paid to Misses Fanny, Eliza and Mary Jane Lynch from June to July 1895 to Feb and Apr 1898. One list was written on the back of a printed agenda paper of the first quarterly meeting of [Clare] County council, ending 1 July 1899.
