Later nineteenth century copy of extracts from the reports of the Acts of Settlement relating to Laughlin Connor. He claims lands in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon and appears to have a lot of lands mortgaged to him by various individuals.

Kerby A. Miller's typed transcript of Kidd, A. (1829), 'The Reminiscent Tribute of Friendship; To the Memory of a Beloved Schoolfellow', The Irish Shield and Monthly Milesian 1, no. 9, pp. 332- 336, plus a photocopy of the original article. In the article, author Adam Kidd writes of a friend, Henry, who emigrated from Ulster to Lower Canada in 1818, and of his own emigration the following year where Kidd reunites with Henry and Henry's new wife, Sophia, only for Henry to succumb to illness.

Letters received by Adam Ormsby of Ballinamore, Co. Mayo and - from the middle of 1823 - of 13 Charlemont Street, Dublin. Before that Adam may have been agent at Ballinamore, looking after his elderly parents. His father died in November 1822. Correspondents include his mother, Christopher Ormsby of Dublin, Anne Ormsby, Anthony Ormsby, George Ormsby, John Ormsby, Charles Phibbs, various nephews and others.

Letter from Adam Ormsby, Quebec, Canada to Anthony Ormsby, Ballinamore, Co. Mayo. A long letter about how Adam has been passed over for promotion and requesting money to purchase a majority. The letter concludes "The latest news from Europe gives us an account of the victory gained by the British troops over the French in Italy ... it will prove to Napoleon that his troops are not invincible when Britons are in the field with them ... give my best respects to Becky and Letitia".

Letter from John Roe, 10 Merrion Row, Dublin, to Anthony Ormsby, Ballinamore, Co. Mayo, largely concerning a map made at Ballinamore and that there will "be no delay but for Mr. Longfield (who is expected every day) and he to sign two maps for the deeds ..." He recounts that "we had 3 guards from Athlone to Dublin, Mr. Lees of the Post Office having received information that the Mail would be attempted to be robbed that night, however, we had no attack". Also includes his account for "the business between you and Col Trench".

Materials pertaining to the Adam Scott Cameron letters written between 1873 and 1877. According to the donor of the letters, Adam Scott Cameron emigrated from Ballyclare, County Antrim with his mother and siblings when he was young, sometime in the 1850s-1860s. Cameron eventually became an engineer and banker living in New York, and co-patented the Sewell and Cameron Steam Pump in 1864.
The series contains: typed transcripts of the donor letter sent to Kerby A. Miller along with the original letter; typed transcripts of the Cameron letters along with photocopies of the original letters; and a typed transcript of Cameron's obituary and photocopy of the original.
