Copied correspondence between John Waddell and Bernard Meehan, the Keeper of Manuscripts at Trinity College Dublin in which Waddell offers to donate photographs taken by J M Synge following a bomb explosion in the dining room of the Parish Priest on Inishmore / Inis Mór. The letter includes an outline of the story, photocopies and 1 photographic print showing the destruction. Also in this file are two letters, transcribed from originals written by the Reverend Alexander Hamilton Synge to Edward [ ] in 1851.

Gwynne encloses a copy of a memoir written by his grandmother Lilah Morrison-Bell called 'Pampooties and Peat-Fires', with copies of photographs that she took during the making of Man of Aran.
