Much is cut and pasted from earlier drafts; with handwritten corrections. Divided into two parts, "The Rose", and "The Tower". Front matter includes a preface stating "this is a re-creation of the poet's involvement with some of these women [that Yeats had significant relationships with during his lifetime]."
