Correspondence contains commentary on Kilroy's departure from Wedekind's Spring Awakening , and his treatment of teenage sexuality.

Comprising correspondence between Kilroy, his literary agents, Judy Friel and Ben Barnes at the Abbey Theatre; a draft of the first part of the play (32 pp), dating to September 2000. Including Ben Barnes's letter rejecting the play (2 March 2000); Judy Friel calling it an "error of judgement" (undated).

Comprising correspondence between Thomas Kilroy, his literary agents (only one item), Ben Barnes and Judy Friel of the Abbey Theatre, with early feedback and discussions of scenes; two scripts of the play (2008 workshop script with notes 101 pp; rehearsals script with schedule and notes 103 pp); full documentation for 2009- auditions ; programmes and fliers from the Abbey production; correspondence from the public, the cast, and friends; press cuttings with reviews of the play. Including a letter from audience member Sylvia Kennedy who contrasts life in the country as depicted in the play, and her upbringing in Dublin (2 March 2010); praise from Judy Friel (10 March [2010]) and others.
