Ó Mórdha, Dublin, to Proinsias Mac an Bheatha; stating that it was once believed James Connolly's family came from Ath an Lobhair, with the Monaghan County Council wishing to commemorate the fact, but that the received wisdom now holds he was born in Scotland - there was much labour migration to Scotland from Monaghan. Referring him further to Fr Ó Gallchobhair, Clones. [in Irish]"
