Holograph letter from George Gilmore, Howth, to Proinsias [Mac an Bheatha]. Stressing importance of action over words. Disagreeing with him in saying that Dev[alera]'s 1937 - Constitution was actually based on 'Document no.2', and did not transform it. Glad the Irish language survived, but expressing belief that some of the best of so-called 'Gaelic' poetry and metalwork goes back to pre-Gaelic eras of whom the languages are lost. Finally disagreeing that Casement was in fact a realist, though he was also an enthusiast for the language.
