Scope and content

The George Graham letters are a set of 25 letters mostly written by and to George Graham, a emigrant from Draperstown, County Derry who settled in Cincinnati, and his father of the same name still in Draperstown. Correspondents include the younger George's brother Thomas in Draperstown, their brother James in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and a number of American acquaintances. The series consists of Kerby A. Miller's complete transcripts of four letters written by George Graham Jnr during 1847-1848 to George Snr and brother Thomas and David, and PRONI's catalogue of the complete set of letters including transcript extracts.
