"File entitled ""Emmett"" containing mostly photographs and a few press cuttings from Inniu pertaining to [two] series of articles by Proinsias Mac an Bheatha appearing in Inniu [26 January 1968 to 31 January 1969] entitled ""Bealach '98"" and ""Ar lorg na laoch"". Containing 55 smaller size black and white photographs (< 12x10.5 cm), 8 larger size black and white photographs (<25x16 cm); 4 black and white photographs on mounts (30.5x 23 cm), 82 negatives (not all corresponding to prints). Larger part of smaller photographs were arranged in commercial-type photo envelopes made for [Ciarán] Ó Nualláin, some with titles ""Emmett"", ""Butterfield Lane"", ""Tone"", ""An tIarthar"", ""Ilghné"", ""Caisleán"", ""'98"". Few photographs bear captions; referring to house where Emmett was seized, Downpatrick prison; some items such as [Clonmacnoise] round tower, plaque for 'The Invincibles' (Kilmainham Jail), memorial to Martin J. Sheridan, may be unrelated to the file. [Mostly in Irish]"
