Letterfax from Françoise Hampson to Michael O'Boyle, Registrar of the First Chamber, European Court of Human Rights, providing the applicant's response to his letter of 31 August 2000 and the enclosed statement of Zübeyde Dulaş of 10 October 1995. Hampson notes that it is clear that the purpose of the 1995 statement that the object of questioning was not to investigate Dulaş's complaints but to ask her whether she had applied to the Commission. She notes that Dulaş had no lawyer present when making the statement, was intimidated by the manner in which she was questioned, and was unaware of what language was in the statement. Hampson concludes by informing O'Boyle that Dulaş wishes the Court to continue the examination of her application. Attached is Cihan Aydın's fax of 22 September 2000 providing Dulaş's thoughts (A44/43/1/25/13/2) in Turkish and English.
