Notes taken from questionnaires compiled by the Irish Folklore Commission for Dr. Arnold Schrier documenting songs sung in Donegal regarding emigration to America. These songs were sung at 'Bottle Drinks' held for departing emigrants. Transcripts of three songs are included. Informants included: Mrs. B. Douglas, Carthage Mountain, Malin, age 80; Mrs. Dan McMullan, Mossyglen, Glenagioney, Moville, age 70; and Mrs. john Byrne, Malin Town, age 63
