Scope and content

Letter from Seán Ó Luing, 30 Ascal na Coille, Teach Lorcáin, Baile Átha Cliath, to Eoghan Ó Tuairisc apologising for not writing sooner, saying that he is delighted to hear that he is working on a book on Easter Week. He tells him that the Irish Volunteer would be the best paper to read to get an idea of the work of the Volunteers, he thinks the only branch of Sinn Féin was at 6 Fairview Road in 1916, as everyone was in the Volunteers. He comments that he has a cousin staying with them who remembers the Rising and could give a good account of it [in Irish].
