Correspondence relating to Laurie Shields attempts to secure a publisher for her proposed biography of her late husband Arthur. Includes copy of a letter dated 10 December 1974 from Michael Gill for Gill and MacMillan addressed to Mrs. T. Taplinger, The Taplinger Publishing Co., Inc., 200 Park Avenue South, New York 10003 enclosing a copy of the outline. In a letter dated 27 December 1974 written by Taplinger in response and addressed to Laurie Shields, Taplinger writes that the proposal 'is interesting but I am afraid it is too specialized to find its place on our current list.' Also includes two letters from Laurie Shields addressed to Michael Gill and terry Taplinger thanking them for their help.
