Correspondence between S Mac Úgo, Roinn na Gaeltachta, and Coiril Ó Mathúna stating that the Minister has considered their letters of the 22nd and 26th August. He states that because of the employment of native speakers as actors in the Taibhdhearc, their staging of plays in the Gaeltacht and their encouragement and support to drama societies in the Gaeltacht, the Minister is giving an additional grant of £2,500. He ends by stating that the Minister is worried about the lack of support the Taibhdhearc is getting among the people of Galway city. In reply, Coiril states that the Directors are very grateful to the Minister for his support [in Irish].
