Correspondence authored, received, and/or compiled by Kevin Boyle, Aisling Reidy, Françoise Hampson, and Bill Bowring pertaining to the Nesime Haran case. The correspondence is with the European Commission of Human Rights, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Kurdish Human Rights Project. Notable items within this correspondence accessible to the public include: the letter of 22 June 1995 introducing the application; letters which accompanied documents and observations submitted on behalf of the applicants; requests on behalf of the applicant for extensions of document submission deadlines; the Court’s letter of 2 July 1999 informing that it has now taken over examination of the application and has declared it admissible; Boyle’s letter to the Court of 18 August 1999 designating Bowring as legal representative; and Hampson’s letter to the Court of 11 March 2000 informing that she and Boyle are withdrawing as legal representatives in the case.
