Reproductions and transcripts of five letters sent between 1822 and 1836 by or to members of the Comyn family, who lived a few miles north of Kilkee, County Clare. Four of the letters are sent by Thomas Comyn, who settled in western New York; all five of the letters are sent to his brother James in Kilkee (the fifth letter informs James of Thomas' passing). Also included is correspondence sent in 1978 from the Diocese of Killaloe discussing and forwarding the letters.
