Several local sources are credited with providing information, namely Joe O'Toole of Moyard, Mr. Heaslipp of Bundouglas, an elderly lady at Heanue's, and Mike Gibbons. Also included is a letter from Martin Hilliard received by Tim Robinson, and dated 29 October 1992. In the letter, Hilliard submits a possible correction on two points regarding Cleggan, namely the origin of the cottages beside Cleggan Strand, and a translation of Sheeauns/Na Siáin.
