Copy of an 1882 petition for United States citizenship made by Charles Farrell, and a letter from his grandson in Virginia to Kerby A. Miller forwarding the copy. Charles Farrell was born on a farm in Dungiven, County Derry on 2 August 1858, married another County Derry native, Rose Boylan, in Philadelphia on 1 January 1884, and died in Philadelphia on 9 October 1934.
