Applicants' memorial, 'A note on the decisions of the domestic courts submitted by the Turkish Government to the Commission in support of their argument that domestic remedies had not been exhausted by the applicants in Akdivar & others v. Turkey', authored by Osman Doğru, Marmara University, İstanbul, in response to the dissenting opinion (A44/43/1/2/1/6/3) of two judges regarding the admissibility of the case. The memorial calls into question the accountability of the Turkish administration and officials, as well as the concept of redress.
