Statement (in Turkish with English translation) from the Diyarbakır branch of the Human Rights Association stating that Zeki Aksoy and 13 other prisoners were tortured in the Kızıltepe gendarme station and in Mardin for 16 days. ('The police in Mardin fired at the feet of the prisoners and into the air to terrorise them before being brought before the prosecution... ...After Mehmet Zeki Aksoy was released from custody, he was under surveillance for a long period, and during this period he was threatened by people whose identities he did not know.')
