This subseries consists of handwritten and typed research notes on the annual Oireachtas competition for Ó Súilleabháin’s book “Scéal an Oireachtais”, published in 1984.

The first file G60/24/4/1 contains notes arranged by Ó Súilleabháin under the following headings: "An Chéad Thréimhse go 1904"; "1907 agus 1908"; "1909-10-11-1912"; "Oireachtas 1914"; "Oireachtas 1915"; "1916, 17, 1918"; "1919 go 1924"; "Turas 1906 Uisneach, Turas 1907 áit a rugadh É O Gamhra"; "Oireachtas Pictiúirí” (no pictures in it) including typed articles from An Claidheamh Soluis about the Oireachtas; "1905 Ceolchoirm faoin aer i gCarraigh Dubh 1905"; "Stair an Oireachtais 1897-1924"; "Cláir Chomórtais An Oireachtais" from 1903-05, 1908.

G60/24/4/2 consists of notes relating to Scoil Éanna and drama (Oireachtas competition) and includes choir programmes 1951, 1952 and certificate for teaching Irish, Oireachtas 1903. The final two files contain more research notes on the history of the Oireachtas (G60/24/4/3) and material relating to individual competitions (G60/24/4/4).
