Scope and content

Materials regarding four letters held in PRONI (T1727) sent from James and Robert Wray from New York and Pennsylvania between 1817 and 1849 to their brother Thomas, along with their mother and sister, living in Quilleybane near Coleraine, County Derry. Includes transcripts of the letters, copies of the original letters, and a copy of Ulster Genealogical and Historical Guild Newsletter (volume 1, no. 10, 1984) in which some of the letters were published. The letters recount family news, including news of the Wrays' brother John who lives in Kentucky, as well as asking after family at home and the brothers' good situation teaching in the United States.
