Series 1 - Wad Clarke letters

The National Library of Ireland provided photocopies of the Clarke letters to Kerby A. Miller on 26 January 1976. The original manuscripts are held in the National Library of Ireland [call number MS 8746] and are viewed there [microfilm POS. 6846].

Reproductions of letters sent from Western Canada, mainly from Manitoba, to Liverpool by Wad Clarke, evidently an army officer. The letters are mostly addressed to his mother, and some to various family members. Kerby A. Miller was unable to establish if the author was Irish and so did not pursue researching the letters.
