Transcripts of 22 letters sent between 1815 and 1849 by members of the Revell family, linen and cotton traders from Arklow, County Wicklow, and Frank Revell, who emigrated to Lewisburgh, Ohio in the late 1810s. A brother of Frank, James Revell, also emigrated to Winchester, Illinois following the sale of the family estate in Wicklow which is the cause of must consternation during letters from the 1830s. Other authors include Frank's son Henry and Frank and James' sister Mary Sherwood.
