Forum I was held 10-11 January 2001 and Forum II was held 26-27 March 2001. The documents are reports of the forum sessions which were brainstorming and planning sessions by members of Macnas, in terms of planning creative projects and parade content, themes, designs etc. for forthcoming events.

File 2 includes minutes and agenda of minutes of meetings of the Galway Municipal Theatres Trust, with detailed accounts of the actions and discussions of the group. File 3: Includes architect's report and overview document with costs and budgets for plans to develop the Black Box Theatre prepared by Kerrigan Sheanon Newman Architects. Also includes press coverage from Galway-based press and media of the development of Galway Municipal Theatre and of the Black Box Theatre.

Files 1 and 2 include minutes and meetings of the Board of Galway [International] Arts Festival and related correspondence, with details of activities and discussions of the Board in relation to the planning and administration of the Festival for 1992 - 1994. Also includes briefing document made by the Festival and presented to Michael D. Higgins, T.D., Minister for Arts, Culture, and the Gaeltacht, 1993.
Files 3-4 include printed programmes from the Festival for years 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1997. Also includes printed programme from production by Footsbarn Theatre Company; flyers from Babóró Children's Festival (1997) and also a programme flyer from Galway Children's Arts Festival 1991.
