Minutes of Central Committee Meeting in the Club House, Kilkenny, held on 29 November 1970. Those in attendance are listed. Discussions on some procedural matters are outlined, also a discussion on correspondence received from RTÉ was read out concerning the possibility of a debate on the language being aired on 'The Late Late Show', and a complaint regarding the 'Watch Your Language' programme. The former is not included in the collection, however the latter is, please see G44/3/3/5. Letter writing campaigns and possible press releases are discussed, along with involvement of clergy members with the organisation.
Resolutions from the AGM of the Language Freedom Movement, which took place on 25 April 1971. Includes proposals from regional groups and Joan O'Brien, President of the LFM. Resolutions are to do with Article 8 of the Constitution, RTÉ and the principle of free speech, the Broadcasting Authority Act, the Higher Education Authority Bill, an amendment to the LFM's statement of policy, and the possibility of introducing an Anti-Discrimination Bill in the Dáil or the Senate.
