Included is a letter on the subject of language and national identity, an Irish language piece by Proinsias Mac Aonghusa entitled 'Gael agus Gall' in which he argues that Irish is the unique characteristic of the Irish people, a badge of nationality. A translation is attached, it is written on the back of a blueprint in Christopher Morris's handwriting.
