Material in this file, originally in large brown envelope labelled "L35 Michael Cosgrove v Min for Foreign Affairs - Passports", relates to the case of Michael Cosgrove v Minister for Foreign Affairs. Cosgrove took the Minister to Court over the issuing of passports to Cosgrove's children without him being consulted and contrary to his wishes. His wife Wilma subsequently left him and returned to her native Holland, taking their two children. It includes correspondence between the Department for Foreign Affairs and Cosgrove 04-23/07/1975; correspondence between Mary Robinson (MR) and Garavan, O'Connor and Caulfield Solicitors, 04/12/1975-14/06/1983; cuttings 05/11/1980-01/05/1981.
