Farrell goes on to discuss in detail items such as "Things are distinctly grim here. . ." and mentions the shooting of Ronnie Bunting (formally of People's Democracy) and his wife Suzanne, and other former People's Democracy leader who was shot. Farrell continues: "There is a lot of tension here over the H-Block hunger strike as well. The British trick concession has only aggravated the situation and greatly embittered the prisoners and their relatives. . . it will be a long and bitter struggle. . . ". Farrell also mentions a new publication by P. Buckland based on now closed files at Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, (PRONI).
